FEMALE EDUCATION "महिला शिक्षा"

Nowadays we see a large number of girls going to schools and campuses. Some years ago, the number of girl students was small. Education was the monopoly of men. Even today, we find the number of girl students small in villages.

Education is as much necessary to women as to men. Our society consists of men and women. Women remain uneducated. our society cannot be improved. In Western countries, people have realized the importance of female education. It is good that our girls also are now attending schools and campuses.

Educated women are very helpful. First, they can make the homes happy. They can help their husbands and children. They c train their children properly. The education of children begins at home. Next, educated women can work in various fields and help society. They can also supplement the income of their husbands. Again, educated women have good character. They are not quarrelsome and troublesome as uneducated women.

The education of women should be slightly different from that of men. In the initial stages, they may be given general education. In the later stages, they should be taught some special subjects like home science, first aid, home nursing, and household accounts. Women may be trained as doctors, nurses, and teachers. They are not fit for technical and military education.

Girls may be taught along with boys. In our country, we find some separate schools and campuses for girls. This is not necessary. There should be co-education. Men and women have to live together and work together in society. There should be no dividing wall between them. them at schools and campuses.

आजकल हामी धेरै संख्यामा केटीहरू विद्यालय र क्याम्पसमा जाने देख्छौं। केही वर्ष पहिले छात्राको संख्या न्यून थियो । शिक्षामा पुरुषको एकाधिकार थियो । आज पनि गाउँमा छात्राको संख्या न्यून छ ।

शिक्षा पुरुषलाई जत्तिकै महिलालाई पनि आवश्यक छ । हाम्रो समाज महिला र पुरुष मिलेर बनेको छ । महिलाहरु अशिक्षित रहन्छन् । हाम्रो समाज सुधार हुन सक्दैन । पश्चिमी देशहरूमा मानिसहरूले महिला शिक्षाको महत्त्व बुझेका छन्। यो राम्रो छ कि हाम्रा केटीहरू पनि अब स्कूल र क्याम्पसमा जान्छन्।

शिक्षित महिलाहरु धेरै सहयोगी छन्। पहिलो, तिनीहरूले घरहरू खुसी बनाउन सक्छन्। तिनीहरूले आफ्नो पति र छोराछोरीलाई मद्दत गर्न सक्छन्। उनीहरूले आफ्ना छोराछोरीलाई राम्ररी तालिम दिन सक्छन्। बालबालिकाको शिक्षा घरबाट सुरु हुन्छ । त्यसपछि, शिक्षित महिलाहरूले विभिन्न क्षेत्रमा काम गर्न र समाजलाई मद्दत गर्न सक्छन्। उनीहरूले आफ्ना श्रीमानको आम्दानीलाई पनि जोड्न सक्छन्। फेरि, शिक्षित महिलाहरूको चरित्र राम्रो छ। तिनीहरू अशिक्षित महिलाहरू जस्तै झगडा गर्ने र समस्याग्रस्त छैनन्।

महिलाको शिक्षा पुरुषको भन्दा अलि फरक हुनुपर्छ । प्रारम्भिक चरणहरूमा, तिनीहरूलाई सामान्य शिक्षा दिन सकिन्छ। पछिल्ला चरणहरूमा, उनीहरूलाई केही विशेष विषयहरू जस्तै गृह विज्ञान, प्राथमिक उपचार, गृह नर्सिङ, र घरेलु खाताहरू पढाइनुपर्छ। महिलाहरूलाई डाक्टर, नर्स र शिक्षकको रूपमा तालिम दिन सकिन्छ। तिनीहरू प्राविधिक र सैन्य शिक्षाको लागि उपयुक्त छैनन्।

केटाहरूसँगै केटीहरूलाई पनि पढाउन सकिन्छ। हाम्रो देशमा केटीहरूको लागि केही छुट्टै विद्यालय र क्याम्पसहरू छन्। यो आवश्यक छैन। सहशिक्षा हुनुपर्छ । महिला र पुरुष सँगै बस्न र समाजमा सँगै काम गर्नुपर्छ। तिनीहरू बीच कुनै विभाजन पर्खाल हुनु हुँदैन। तिनीहरूलाई विद्यालय र क्याम्पसमा।
