PATRIOTISM  "देशभक्ति"

Everybody loves his country. There is nobody who does not love his country. We like to live, in our own country. When we go to another country, we like to return to our native land. The love of the motherland is called patriotism.

Patriotism is a great virtue. It unites the people of a country. They all work together for the good of their country. They become unselfish. They are ready to bear hardships for the welfare of their country. They are even ready to die for their country. They fight for the defense of their motherland. Many persons have sacrificed their lives for their country.

Patriots win the love and respect of all. They become famous even after their death. We honor the names of Shukra Raj. Ganga Lall, Dharma Bhakta and Dasarath Chand. We remember the names of Bal Bhadra, Amar Singh, and Bhakti Thapa. The man who does not love his country is hated by all. Nobody loves or respects him. He is/ miserable in life and is forgotten after his death.

It is good that we love our country, but we should not hate other countries. If the people of one country hate the people of another country, there may be quarrels and wars. This will cause great loss and suffering to the people of both countries. We should love all countries. If the nations of the world love one another, there will be peace and progress. This will do good for all countries.

Children should be taught patriotism. They should learn to love their country. They should learn to respect the flag of their country. They should love their national culture, the national language, and national dress. They should study the lives of the national heroes. If they learn patriotism, they will grow up into good citizens.

"देशभक्ति"

सबैलाई आफ्नो देश प्यारो छ। आफ्नो देशलाई माया नगर्ने कोही छैन। हामी आफ्नै देशमा बस्न चाहन्छौं। जब हामी अर्को देशमा जान्छौं, हामी आफ्नो जन्मभूमि फर्कन चाहन्छौं। मातृभूमिको मायालाई देशभक्ति भनिन्छ।

देशभक्ति एक महान गुण हो। यसले देशका जनतालाई एकताबद्ध गर्छ । उनीहरु सबै मिलेर देशको हितमा काम गर्छन् । निस्वार्थी बन्छन् । देशको हितका लागि कष्ट भोग्न तयार हुन्छन् । देशका लागि मर्न पनि तयार छन् । तिनीहरू आफ्नो मातृभूमिको रक्षाको लागि लड्छन्। देशका लागि धेरैले आफ्नो जीवन बलिदान दिएका छन् ।

देशभक्तले सबैको माया र सम्मान जित्छ। मरेपछि पनि चर्चित हुन्छन् । हामी शुक्रराजको नामलाई सम्मान गर्छौं। गंगा लाल, धर्मभक्त र दशरथ चन्द। बालभद्र, अमर सिंह र भक्ति थापाको नाम सम्झन्छौं। आफ्नो देशलाई माया नगर्ने मानिसलाई सबैले घृणा गर्छन्। उहाँलाई कसैले माया र आदर गर्दैन। उहाँ जीवनमा दुःखी हुनुहुन्छ र उहाँको मृत्यु पछि बिर्सिन्छ।

हामीले आफ्नो देशलाई माया गर्नु राम्रो हो, तर हामीले अरू देशलाई घृणा गर्नु हुँदैन। एक देशका जनताले अर्को देशका जनतालाई घृणा गरेमा झगडा र युद्ध हुन सक्छ। यसले दुवै देशका जनतालाई ठूलो नोक्सान र पीडा बेहोर्नेछ । हामीले सबै देशलाई माया गर्नुपर्छ। संसारका राष्ट्रहरूले एकअर्कालाई माया गरेमा शान्ति र प्रगति हुनेछ। यसले सबै देशको लागि राम्रो गर्नेछ।

बालबालिकालाई देशभक्ति सिकाउनुपर्छ । उनीहरूले आफ्नो देशलाई माया गर्न सिक्नुपर्छ। आफ्नो देशको झण्डाको सम्मान गर्न सिक्नुपर्छ । आफ्नो राष्ट्रिय संस्कृति, राष्ट्रिय भाषा र राष्ट्रिय पोशाकलाई माया गर्नुपर्छ। उनीहरूले राष्ट्रिय नायकहरूको जीवन अध्ययन गर्नुपर्छ। देशभक्ति सिके भने असल नागरिक बन्नेछन् ।
