Master Log
The frogs in the lake led carefree lives, doing whatever they pleased. But they could tell that there was room for improvement because what satisfied one frog irritated another.
The frogs all agreed that they required a powerful leader to establish the guidelines they should follow.
They therefore spoke with the King of all creatures. The King said, "Very good," before announcing the frogs this wood was their new leader and tossing it into a lake.
The frogs were first frightened by it. They all dove down the lake's bottom and hid in the dirt as it splashed into the water.
Except as time passed and the log did nothing but float in the water, their terror subsided.
They quickly jumped on it and continued on as normal. They then sent the King another letter informing him that they needed a better one.
The King said, "Then you must take this as your lesson. He dispatched a water snake this time, and it ate as many frogs as it could capture after taking one glance at them all.
